Aside from my last post which I drafted a few months ago and never posted, and another i posted in October that I drafted in 2012, it's been almost 2 years since my last entry.
What happened between now and then?
April 2012: Europe!!!
-- As I mentioned way back when, Jordan and I got asked to go to Europe with his parents and sort of play "tour guide" since we'd both been several times and it was going to be their first trip. It was a blast! We did London for a Week and Paris for a week- day trips to Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon, Windsor, Stonehenge, Champagne, and Versailles! In both cities we rented apartments rather than staying in a hotel- I prefer this way, but it definitely is not for everyone. Next time I would probably do a hotel if it's just a week, but more than a week, it's nice to have a place of your own- the ability to cook and do laundry.... anyway I loved it. We all had a great time. Here are some pics:
September 2012: Finally got a full-time job!!
-- Decided to go the staffing agency route and so glad I did- got way more interviews that way!! Ended up interviewing for 2 positions at one company, and was hired as a Logistics Analyst- 3 month temp period before being brought on permanently- but by the end of the 1st month I was positive I'd NEVER be able to stay in that position one second longer than the 3 month trial period. Let's just say the Dept Manager and I had conflicting management styles and I ended up crying almost every night. However, God was lookin out because my friend who was hired in the other position I originally interviewed for- Administrative Assistant to the CEO- decided she wanted to leave at the end of her 3 months too. So I grabbed her job and was so, so much happier. My boss is super nice, I have a lot of flexibility and opportunities to be creative and do marketing/events... it's been a really good experience so far.
December 2012: My Dear Friend Sarah Got Married
-- and had one of the most stunning wedding's I've been to. Intimate, elegant, and fun!
Then we went to New York with Jordan's mom and sister. NY is fun, but having gone nearly every other year for the past 10 years- we're just kinda tired of it.
May: We Got Pregnant! (See Post Below for More on This)
I think that about covers it up to the Pregnancy..... More excitement has happened in the past couple months, but I think this is information overload enough for the time being.
